My London Treat – Champagne at Perrier-Jouët Champagne Bar

How often do you treat yourself to something super duper nice? I thought that since travelling is still in a mess, I was going to treat myself to something special. And so I treated myself to a champagne at Perrier-Jouët Champagne Bar in Harrods.

The fancy experience at Perrier-Jouët Champagne Bar

In all fairness, I actually wanted to experience the Tiffany’s Blue Box Cafe. It was something that I had been looking forward to for a while, i.e. years 🙂

But after booking my seat at the Tiffany’s Cafe, I was made aware that in order to buy any alcoholic drink (which is what I fancied), I’d need to spend £69 on a tea meal.

Ummm. Maybe not this time.

The most helpful lady who checked my booking a few days before the date of it suggested that I come for a champagne experience instead.

Yes please!

Take a seat at the Champagne Terrace

One of the first things that made me smile was the fact that clearly you were not expected to be dressed in Dior to come to Perrier-Jouët Champagne Bar. I mean don’t come in all scruffy, naturally. After all, you’ll be drinking champagne!

I have to mention the wonderful, professional and most welcoming staff at the Bar.

Everyone is treated as if they are the most important guest of the day 🙂 Whether it is a girl celebrating life (me!), or 3 ladies who have just done their shopping in Harrods, or 2 ladies treating themselves to a whole bottle of the champagne (because why not).

And enjoy your drink

I picked – by fluke – the most perfect day for this treat. The day was sunny and warm.

Sitting at the terrace with the gorgeous drink in my hand was just lush and pure delight.

What did I drink?

I had Berry and Rosemary Spritz. And it was soooo good! I nearly had another one, but I thought of the day ahead, and needing to be on a train for over two hours later… Next time I’ll have two of these 🙂

What goes into this drink? We have the champagne, Chambord Raspberry Liqueur, cranberry juice, soda water and a rosemary. It was so smooth and refreshing.

Fancy treating yourself to a champagne too?

Head over to Harrods website for Perrier-Jouët Champagne Terrace and book your seat 🙂
