Last weekend, I went to my 3rd favourite place on the planet – Harry Potter’s World in Leavesden, England. This was my – wait for it – 4th visit there! Though I’m fairly positive I am not the most frequent of visitors of all.
Every time I’m at this magical place, I am just so happy and thrilled.
Let me show why, and why you should visit Harry Potter’s World in England. Mind you, I have over 100 pictures from this one visit!
Behind the scenes
The whole place is one huge Behind the Scenes playground. It’s also a gigantic spotlight on all the crew that have helped turn the books into films.
Have a look yourself:
Every few months, there a new addition to the exhibition. This is one of the reasons I have been to Harry Potter’s World 4 times already!
This time, it’s the Gringotts Wizarding Bank sets that are new:
Heaven for props nerds and film art afficiandos
My absolute favourite part of Harry Potter’s World is the second sound stage which is dedicated to all sort of props. It is mind-blowing how much work goes into making a film before the cameras start rolling.
Have a look at some of them that were made for the Harry Potter films:
And always the last room just blows me away, because you see this…:
How to visit Harry Potter’s World in England
The Harry Potter’s World in England is located in Warner Bros Studios Leavesden, which is north of London. You need to book your tickets in advance. In fact, Warner Bros Studios were operating this system even before the pandemic.
There is lots of parking, which is free, if you’re coming by car. Allow good 3 hours for the whole experience!
I wore a mask throughout the tour, but naturally this is no longer mandatory as per the government’s directive.
